If you want to keep the calculation simple, you can use general categories such as food, housing, utility, transportation, entertainment, shopping and so on. - You should link your spending account and bank account with the expense tracking software. This will help you to keep a track of the balance left in your account.
- You can also pay bills through the software. You can also print checks from your PC using the software.
